Ich hab mir den Bio-Burner Einsatz für meinen Spin 120 gekauft und bin begeistert! Ist eine saubere Sache! Kein verbranntes Gel! Brennt vollkommen rußfrei mit dem Bio-Ethanol ab! Habs das Ethanol auch gleich mitgekauft und ausprobiert! Brennt mit dem Ecoring über 2 Stunden! Kann das nur empfehlen! 👍👍👍

Spin 120 was a good product that was good enough to easily warm a big room. The problem was the Gel, that is not easy to find. Worse the gel leaves some residues, and the end of the combustion is not very pleasant. I was looking for another product when I saw that I was able upgrade my Spin 120. It was cheap, Now the combustion seems cleaner until the end, maybe safer, and it is easy to find the appropriate liquid, that is a lot cheaper. The Eco-Ring is a really nice stuff too. The Bio-burner really burns for a bit more than 2 hours now. Congrats to Höfats, I will use my bio burner for a long time now. I won't have to throw out my SPIN.

The fuel makes the difference!
Depending on the SPIN model, it is important to use the correct product-specific fuel:
- Both fuels are made from renewable biological raw materials and burn odourless, soot-free and smokeless.
- SPIN 90 | 120 may only be filled with gel fuel (black cap).
- SPIN classic, SPIN air and SPIN X as well as all SPIN models retrofitted with the Bio-Burner 900 | 1200 may only be filled with liquid fuel (green cap).
Is the Bio-Burner included with my SPIN, or do I need to order it separately?
You only need the Bio-Burner if you have a SPIN 90 | 120 with gel fuel container and want to upgrade it. For all other SPIN models, the Bio-Burner including Eco-Ring and extinguisher lid is already the heart of your SPIN and included in the delivery.
Can I use the gel from my SPIN 90 | 120 in the Bio-Burner?
No, the Bio-Burner is designed exclusively for use with höfats liquid bioethanol fuel (green cap). Other fuels such as gel are not compatible and may damage it.
How does the Eco-Ring work?
Durch Auflegen des Eco-Rings auf den Bio-Burner reduziert sich der Bioethanolverbrauch, wodurch die Flammenhöhe etwas geringer wird. So verlängert sich die Brenndauer Deiner SPIN um bis zu 50 %. Den Eco-Ring kannst Du je nach Belieben vor dem Anzünden auflegen oder abnehmen.
How can I turn my SPIN 90 | 120 into a SPIN 900 | 1200?
To upgrade, you only need the Bio-Burner with Eco-Ring and extinguisher lid in the right size, plus höfats liquid bioethanol. Remove the gel container, insert the Bio-Burner – and your SPIN 90 | 120 is upgraded to SPIN 900 | 1200. From then on, please use only our liquid bioethanol with the green cap.
How do I know which Bio-Burner size I need?
The correct size depends on your SPIN:
• SPIN 90 → Bio-Burner 900
• SPIN 120 → Bio-Burner 1200
If you’re unsure, check the label on the underside of the base or measure the diameter of the glass: SPIN 90 = 9 cm, SPIN 120 = 12 cm.
What is the best way to fill the Bio-Burner?
The easiest way is to slightly pull out the stainless steel wick in the centre and pour the bioethanol directly through the opening. The Bio-Burner is full when the bioethanol slightly overflows and collects about 1–2 mm high on the grid.
