The Bio-Burner of SPIN X offers three times the capacity compared to the SPIN and SPIN air series – setting a new standard for endurance:
- The enlarged reservoir holds significantly more bioethanol, allowing a steady flame for up to five hours – without the need to refill.
- Eco-Ring included: When the Eco-Ring is placed on top, the flame height gently decreases, reducing bioethanol consumption and extending the burn time to an impressive seven hours.

What is the difference between SPIN X and the other SPIN models?
In contrast to the SPIN 900 | 1200 and SPIN air, the SPIN X stands out not only with its distinct design but also with a significantly longer burn time. Both SPIN X models burn for 5 hours, and with the Eco-Ring, even up to 7 hours.
Can I adjust the flame height myself?
Yes, with the Eco-Ring you can adjust the flame height. It reduces ethanol consumption and extends the burn time to 7 hours.
Do I need to clean the Bio-Burner?
No, the Bio-Burner does not need to be cleaned. It is sufficient to dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. The Bio-Burner must not be opened.
Can I use the SPIN X indoors?
Yes, SPIN X can be used both indoors and outdoors. We are very proud to be one of the few brands whose table fires are certified for indoor use according to DIN EN 16647. This standard tests all important criteria, such as possible exhaust values.
Which bioethanol should I use for SPIN X?
We recommend using only our liquid höfats bioethanol (with the green cap) for the SPIN X. Our bioethanol burns odourless and soot-free and is certified according to DIN 16647, making it suitable for indoor use.
Please do not use höfats bioethanol gel (with the black cap) under any circumstances, as it would damage the Bio-Burner of your SPIN X.
Can I upgrade my existing SPIN / SPIN air to a SPIN X?
No, the SPIN X is a standalone product. While it uses the same burner technology as SPIN and SPIN air, the burners differ in fuel capacity and design.
Which accessories and spare parts are compatible with SPIN X?
For the SPIN X 900, you can use the SPIN 900 cover as well as the SPIN air 900 glass cylinder. For the SPIN X 1200, the SPIN 1200 cover and the SPIN air 1200 glass cylinder fit perfectly.
How much bioethanol does the SPIN X hold?
Fill the SPIN X 900 with 750 ml, and the SPIN X 1200 with 1,500 ml of liquid höfats bioethanol for up to 5 hours of fire – or up to 7 hours when using the Eco-Ring. Due to the higher flame height and therefore greater fuel consumption, both the SPIN X 900 and SPIN X 1200 burn for the same duration despite their different fuel volumes.
Does the tinted glass of SPIN X all black remain black?
Yes, the color is already incorporated into the borosilicate glass during production. Heat cannot change the color.
