The fire safely enclosed
The evening and the fire are drawing to a close and you're worried about leaving the last glowing wood scraps alone? No problem: CUBE encloses the embers, reduces flying sparks and safely stores the ashes.
Simply turn the fire basket upside down. The inner ash tray always remains level due to gravity and is covered by the outer fire basket. No ash falls down and the fire is smothered.
Practical: After cooling, the ash tray can be easily removed, the cooled ash can be emptied and the tray cleaned.

Fire basket without the worry of flying sparks
Fire implies responsibility. With CUBE, you always live up to it, because by turning the fire basket upside down, you enclose the remains of the embers in the inner ash tray. The fire residues are safely stowed away and you can be sure that there will only be pleasant surprises the next day, because the cooled ash tray can be easily removed and cleaned.

Not just any fire basket, but probably the best
Design and functionality - this interaction of both is where the uniqueness of CUBE lies and where it becomes a typical höfats product. CUBE is characterised by a clear geometric basic shape that plays with the physical principle of gravity on the inside. This turns the fear that the fire could escape from the fire basket into a function in which the fire basket is deliberately turned over the inner ash tray and thus safely encloses the embers.
Also this product is cleverly designed and has won several awards. The cut-outs in the upper part of the fire basket allow a view of the flames and are at the same time anchors for grill grid and plancha. Did we mention that the fire basket turns into a piece of furniture when cold?

How do I best make a fire in the CUBE?
We recommend placing a maximum of 3 kg of firewood in the CUBE at once, and especially at the beginning, using rather small and thin logs. The firewood should always be dry and, ideally, hardwood. You can also find suitable firewood from us:
Can I use the board as a cover?
No, the board should not be permanently exposed to the weather but stored indoors. You can protect the CUBE from the elements, for example, with our cover. However, due to the risk of trapped moisture, the board should not be stored under the cover.
Does the grid fit under the board?
No, you can either place the grid or the board on the CUBE.
Can I place a cast iron pan or a Dutch oven on the grid?
Whether you can use your cast iron pan or Dutch oven on our CUBE depends on the weight. Our CUBE grid can hold a maximum of 5.8 kg. Within this weight limit, your creativity knows no bounds.
Can I use the plancha and the grid at the same time?
No, once the grid is in place, you can no longer access the plancha. For more cooking surface, we recommend using either just the adjustable grid or two planchas.
How many planchas fit on the CUBE?
You can grill with up to two planchas at the same time on the CUBE. Since the CUBE plancha has a reversible surface – one smooth and one ridged – you can make optimal use of both sides simultaneously.
